scythe boy by voodooxfishy scythe boy by voodooxfishy
ok screw the scrap pile. all my pictures are black and white anyways. ill move it later if anyone complains.

i drew this one a couple years back and is now a blur of pencil dust in my old sketch book. im glad i scanned it in. even though it looks really beaten up. can't beleive i can actually conjure up something cool...

(can someone teach me how to get rid of those shadow spots when scanning stuff? its really irritating.)

It still looks really great even if you kind of complain about it.

getting rid of shadows in scanners:
option 1 Have it completely flat
option 2 retouch with things like adobe photoshop

As long as you consider it finished or "close enough" then it belongs in your gallery.

:wow: I love the idea, and the anatomy of the boy looks so cool. I, also, love the individual spikes in the back of the scythe. Great job with this, I really like the idea. It'd be cool as a logo on a shirt, car sticker, or a tattoo.

Letta is jealous. 'nough said XP

As for the shadows.. I guess you could just move it..? I scan at school, so I typically don't have that problem. Another thing is make sure the drawing is flat when scanning. There's also the option of brightening or contrasting the picture.

I love the motion here, your eyes just keep going around and around in circles.
The shadows will normaly go away if you apply (slight) pressure to the back of the pages, following the scanning light below. Though I dont know what kind of scanner you have...

I don't know what you mean by "shadow stuff", but I don't scan that often so I probably won't know either way. >_> sorry.

BUT HAH. I knew you'd submit this. One of the coolest things you've shown me.

=P i meant the grey stuff on the left side of the drawing. i guess the paper's too big or something. either that or my drawings are just way too cool for the scanner to take. haha. jk.
